  2. Insert spacers: Push spacer arms flat between adjacent tile corners to form a cross or T-junction. For easy removal later, insert upright (tombstone method).
  3. Remove or leave in place: If removing, pull spacers out after initial adhesive set but before the bed turns fully hard. If leaving in, ensure they sit well below the tile surface so grout covers them completely.

1) Should I remove the spacers or leave them inside the joint?

Either method works. If leaving them in, ensure they sit well below the tile surface so grout covers them fully - a visible plastic spacer under grout creates a weak joint. If removing, pull them out after the adhesive has started to set but before it fully hardens, using the tombstone (upright) insertion method for easier extraction.

2) What is the difference between the 2mm, 3mm, and 4mm sizes?
