Jaquar Concealed Body for Wall Mounted Basin Mixer - Valve Only
ಪಿಕಪ್ ಲಭ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಲೋಡ್ ಮಾಡಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ
This listing contains the internal in-wall plumbing component only. It does not include the external chrome spout, control lever handle, or wall trim plates. A matching Jaquar external trim kit must be purchased separately to complete the installation.
Jaquar Allied Concealed Body (ALD-CHR-233N) is the internal in-wall brass valve body for a wall-mounted basin mixer, designed to be embedded behind bathroom wall tiles during masonry work. By concealing the mixing mechanism inside the wall, it enables sleek, floating wall-mounted faucets with no exposed plumbing around the vanity. Manufactured from heavy-gauge brass conforming to IS:1264-1997, it handles a peak flow rate of 32 LPM at 3 Bar and operating pressures from 0.5 to 5.0 Bar.
The internal cartridge is fitted with a solid brass spindle and an integrated temperature limiter that sets a physical stop on how far the hot water line opens - preventing accidental scalding. Tested to 10.5 lakh (1,050,000) ON/OFF cycles for long-term reliability. Compatible with solar water heaters, centralized geyser systems, and standard overhead cold water tanks. This is a valve-only component - the external chrome trim kit is sold separately.

No - this listing is the valve body only - the raw internal brass mechanism that goes inside the wall during masonry work. All external cosmetic components - the chrome spout, control lever handle, and wall trim plates - are sold separately as a Jaquar external trim kit. You must purchase the matching trim kit alongside this valve body to complete the installation.
No - the internal cartridge stems, mounting alignment, and thread spacing are proprietary to Jaquar's engineering specifications. This valve body is only compatible with genuine Jaquar external trim kits from the Allied Series and compatible Jaquar wall-mounted single-lever collections. Using a non-Jaquar trim kit will result in misalignment and an incomplete installation.
The integrated temperature limiter is a mechanical stop built into the cartridge that limits how far the lever can rotate toward the hot water supply. Your plumber sets this stop during installation to a safe maximum temperature. This prevents sudden surges of scalding hot water from reaching the tap - particularly important in bathrooms used by children or elderly users where reflex response to hot water may be slower.
Standard valve cartridges are typically tested to around 70,000 cycles. Jaquar's cartridge is tested to 1,050,000 ON/OFF operations - roughly 15 to 20 years of normal daily household use. This matters for a concealed valve body specifically because the valve is embedded inside the wall - replacing it requires breaking tiles. A high cycle rating significantly reduces the risk of cartridge failure during the life of the bathroom.
The concealed body must be installed during the rough plumbing phase - before wall tiling. The plumber connects the hot and cold supply pipes to the valve body, embeds it at the correct depth per the MIN/MAX markings on the protective casing, and pressure-tests all joints at 16 Bar before the wall is plastered and tiled. The external chrome trim kit is installed after tiling is complete. Installing the valve body after tiling is not possible without breaking the finished wall.
