Futura Waste Coupling — FT Brass, 1 x 1¼" - 3.5" is the drain fitting that seats into the outlet hole of a kitchen sink or wash basin, forming the sealed junction between the bowl and the waste pipe below. It is the single component every sink installation depends on for a leak-free drain, and the one most exposed to constant standing water, detergent, and food waste.

This coupling is made from brass rather than plastic or thin pressed steel — a material choice that matters in a component permanently submerged at the base of a sink. Brass resists the corrosion and thread degradation that shortens the life of cheaper couplings, and holds a clean thread through repeated servicing.
