Product Description

Bosch Standard for Universal 110mm (4") Segmented Diamond Cutting Blade (2608615232) is a general-purpose diamond disc for cutting the hard building materials you meet on almost every site — concrete, reinforced concrete, solid and lime-sand brick, block, and natural stone. At 110 mm it fits the 4-inch angle grinders and marble cutters that do most of the day-to-day cutting on Indian sites.

The segmented rim is the point of the design. Gaps between the diamond segments let heat and dust escape from the cut as the disc turns, so the blade stays cooler through sustained dry cutting than a continuous-rim disc would. That keeps the cut moving on thick, abrasive material like concrete and brick, where a full-rim blade would slow down and glaze as it heats up.

All safety and technical data is laser-marked directly into the steel core — diameter, bore, maximum speed, rotation arrows, and the EN 13236 reference stay legible for the life of the blade rather than wearing off with a paper label. The disc is rated to 80 m/s and a maximum 13,900 min-1, and carries Bosch's "long LIFE" and "fast CUT" range markings.

Key Features

  • Segmented rim — sustained dry cutting: Gaps between segments clear heat and dust from the cut, so the blade resists overheating on long runs
  • 20/16 mm bore with reduction ring: Fits both 20 mm and 16 mm spindles — covers standard 4-inch angle grinders and marble cutters
  • Permanent laser-marked data: Size, speed rating, and rotation direction etched into the steel core — never fades or peels
  • Rated to 80 m/s / 13,900 min-1: Matched to the speed range of standard 4-inch grinders
  • EN 13236 compliant: Manufactured to the European safety standard for superabrasive products

Usage and Safety Guidelines

Important — Read Before Use

  • Check your grinder's speed rating first: This blade is rated to a maximum 13,900 min-1 — never fit it to a tool that runs faster
  • Power off before fitting: Disconnect the grinder from the supply before installing or removing the blade
  • Match the bore to your spindle: Leave the reduction ring in for a 16 mm spindle, remove it for 20 mm — never enlarge the bore yourself
  • Check the direction arrow: Mount with the rotation arrow matching the tool's spindle direction
  • Use the correct guard: Always operate with the tool's safety guard fitted — never remove it
  • Wear PPE: Safety goggles, N95 dust mask, heavy-duty gloves, and ear protection — dry cutting concrete and masonry generates fine silica dust
  • Inspect before every use: Discard any disc showing cracks, missing segments, or a bent core
  • Let the tool reach full speed before touching the material, then apply steady, light pressure — do not force the blade

Recommended Applications

Where this blade fits best

  • Concrete and reinforced concrete: Slab cutting, chasing, and general site work

  • Natural and hard stone: Stone blocks, kerbing, and cladding material
  • Wall chasing: Cutting channels for conduit and plumbing runs in masonry walls
  • Renovation and demolition: Breaking into existing masonry where cut speed matters more than edge finish

FAQs

1) What materials does this blade cut?

It's a universal masonry disc — concrete, reinforced concrete, solid and lime-sand brick, block, and natural stone. That covers most of the hard cutting on a construction or renovation site.

2) Will this fit my 4-inch angle grinder?

Yes, provided the spindle is 16 mm or 20 mm and the tool's speed does not exceed 13,900 min-1. The blade has a 20 mm bore with a removable reduction ring for 16 mm spindles, which covers standard 4-inch grinders and marble cutters. It will not fit a 5-inch grinder — for those, use the 125 mm blade with a 22.23 mm bore.

3) What is the 20/16 mm bore, and do I need to do anything with it?

The blade has a 20 mm centre hole fitted with a removable reduction ring that brings it down to 16 mm. Leave the ring in place for a 16 mm spindle; press it out for a 20 mm spindle. Never drill or file the bore to fit a different machine — that makes the disc unsafe.

4) Can this blade be used for wet cutting?

It's designed primarily for dry cutting, which is what the segmented rim is built for. If your tool is a marble cutter set up for water feed, wet cutting on harder stone reduces heat and dust and will extend blade life. Only ever wet-cut with a tool rated for it.

5) Is this the right blade for cutting ceramic or porcelain tiles?

Not the best choice. A segmented rim tends to chip tile edges because the gaps between segments strike the material intermittently. For clean, chip-free cuts in ceramic, porcelain, or glass, use a continuous-rim (full-rim) tile blade instead. Choose this segmented disc when you're cutting concrete, brick, block, and stone, where cutting speed and heat clearance matter more than edge finish.
