This model requires a 175mm x 175mm square cutout in your wall, wooden frame, or ply structure. Measure and confirm this opening before purchasing - the fan casing is sized for this exact opening. A smaller cutout cannot accommodate the fan body and a significantly larger one will leave gaps around the frame. Professional installation is recommended if you are cutting into a brick or concrete wall.

2) Can I use a wall regulator to control the speed?

No - this BLDC exhaust fan operates at a fixed speed of 2000 RPM from a standard on/off wall switch. It does not have variable speed settings. Connecting it to a traditional fan regulator can cause electronic humming and damage the internal BLDC circuit over time. Simply wire it to a standard switch and use on/off to operate it.

3) How do the back-flaps work - do I need to open and close them manually?
