Ozone Patch Lock is a patch lock for frameless toughened glass doors whose defining feature is what it does not need: no cutout in the glass.

That single detail changes what is possible. Toughened glass cannot be drilled or notched after it has been toughened — any attempt shatters the panel. So a lock requiring a cutout has to be specified before the glass is made, which rules it out entirely for an existing door or a panel already on site. A no-cutout lock clamps to the glass edge instead, which means you can add or change a lock on a door that is already installed.

It operates with a key on one side and is blind on the other, and it also suits sliding glass doors and double doors — applications where a conventional corner lock throwing into the floor will not work.

Why “No Cutout” Matters

Toughened glass cannot be cut after toughening. Drilling or notching it will shatter the panel — there is no way around this
