Ozone Corner Lock OPL-1E is the corner patch lock from Ozone’s E-Series range of glass door fittings, in satin stainless steel.
The E-Series is a distinct fitting family with its own proportions and cover profile. That matters more than it sounds: patch fittings are bought as a matched set, and E-Series patches are designed to line up visually with each other. Mixing an E-Series lock with standard-series patches on the same door usually shows — different cover depths and edge radii sit differently against the glass.
Mechanically it does the same job as any corner patch lock: it clamps the bottom corner of the leading edge of a frameless toughened glass door and provides the locking point. If your other fittings are E-Series, this is the lock to use with them.
Key Features
- E-Series matched design: Lines up visually with other E-Series patch fittings on the same door
- Corner-mounted locking point for frameless toughened glass doors
- Satin stainless steel finish: Hides fingerprints on a door handled all day
- SS Grade 304 cover: The marine-grade stainless most resistant to corrosion, so it holds its finish in humid and coastal conditions
- Aluminium alloy cast base: Rigid body that keeps the mechanism aligned under daily door use
- Satin stainless steel finish: Hides fingerprints far better than mirror-polished hardware on a door handled all day

Before You Order — Glass Door Fittings
- Confirm your glass thickness first. This fitting is made for 10 mm and 12 mm toughened glass — it will not hold correctly on thinner glass
- Toughened glass only. Frameless glass doors must use toughened (tempered) glass; annealed glass is not safe for door use
- Any cutouts must be made before toughening. Glass cannot be drilled or notched after it is toughened — it will shatter. Confirm the fitting’s cutout requirement with your glass supplier before the panel is made
- Patch fittings work as a system. A lock is one part of a set that usually also includes top and bottom patches and a floor spring or closer
- Match the series. If the rest of your fittings are standard-series rather than E-Series, use the matching standard-series lock instead — the two families do not line up visually
1) What is the E-Series, and does it matter?
It is a distinct Ozone patch fitting family with its own cover proportions. It matters because patch fittings are bought as a matched set — mixing E-Series with standard-series patches on one door is visible, since the cover depths and edge profiles differ.
2) How is this different from the OPL-1 STD corner lock?
Both are corner patch locks for frameless glass. OPL-1E belongs to the E-Series and is designed to match other E-Series fittings; OPL-1 STD is from the standard range. Choose whichever matches the rest of the door.
3) What glass thickness does it take?
10 mm and 12 mm toughened glass. Confirm your panel before ordering.
4) Does the glass need a cutout?
Confirm the exact requirement with your glass supplier before the panel is toughened, since toughened glass cannot be cut or drilled afterwards.
5) What else do I need for the door?
A patch lock is one part of a set. A frameless glass door normally also needs top and bottom patch fittings, a floor spring or door closer, and handles — all in the same series and finish.
