Ozone Corner Patch Lock OPL-1 STD is the locking patch fitting for a frameless toughened glass door, mounted at the bottom corner of the leading edge with a matching strike plate in the floor.
On a frameless glass door there is no frame to house a lock, so the lock has to be part of the patch fitting itself. This one carries a euro profile cylinder — the same cylinder standard used across European door hardware, which means it can be rekeyed or upgraded later using widely available cylinders rather than being tied to one proprietary part.
The deadbolt throws 15 mm in a single action into the strike plate. Three high-security computer-cut keys are supplied, and master keying is available on request — worth specifying at order stage if you are fitting several doors in an office or commercial space and want one key to open all of them.
Key Features
- Euro profile cylinder: Rekeyable and upgradeable using standard cylinders, not a proprietary part
- 15 mm single-throw deadbolt: Firm engagement into the strike plate
- Three high-security computer keys supplied
- Master keying available on request: One key across multiple doors — specify at order stage
- Cover secured with a small ‘L’ key: The fixings are not exposed to casual tampering
- Two finishes: Satin stainless steel, or black matt for darker schemes
- SS Grade 304 cover: The marine-grade stainless most resistant to corrosion, so it holds its finish in humid and coastal conditions
- Aluminium alloy cast base: Rigid body that keeps the mechanism aligned under daily door use
- Satin stainless steel finish: Hides fingerprints far better than mirror-polished hardware on a door handled all day

Finish Options
| Finish | Best suited to |
|---|---|
| Stainless Steel | Offices, showrooms and commercial entrances — matches most existing glass hardware |
| Black Matt | Darker interior schemes and contemporary fitouts where satin steel would stand out |
Both finishes are mechanically identical. Choose to match the top and bottom patches, handles and floor spring on the same door — mixed finishes on one glass door are very visible.
Before You Order — Glass Door Fittings
- Confirm your glass thickness first. This fitting is made for 10 mm and 12 mm toughened glass — it will not hold correctly on thinner glass
- Toughened glass only. Frameless glass doors must use toughened (tempered) glass; annealed glass is not safe for door use
- Any cutouts must be made before toughening. Glass cannot be drilled or notched after it is toughened — it will shatter. Confirm the fitting’s cutout requirement with your glass supplier before the panel is made
- Patch fittings work as a system. A lock is one part of a set that usually also includes top and bottom patches and a floor spring or closer
1) Will this fit my glass door?
It is made for 10 mm and 12 mm toughened glass. Confirm your panel thickness before ordering — a patch fitting sized for 12 mm will not grip 8 mm glass safely.
2) What is a euro profile cylinder, and why does it matter?
It is the standard cylinder format used across European door hardware. Because it is a standard, the cylinder can be rekeyed or replaced with a higher-security one later without changing the whole lock.
3) Can I have one key for several doors?
Yes — master keying is available on request. It has to be specified when the order is placed, not arranged afterwards, so tell us at the time if you need it.
4) Do I need a cutout in the glass?
Confirm the exact cutout requirement with your glass supplier before the panel is toughened. Toughened glass cannot be drilled or notched afterwards — any attempt will shatter it.
5) Which finish should I choose?
Whichever matches the rest of the hardware on that door. Mixed finishes are very noticeable on frameless glass, so match the lock to your patches, handles and floor spring.
