Ozone Glass Patch Fitting OPF-3 is the bottom patch for a frameless toughened glass door — the fitting that clamps the bottom of the leading edge and sits onto the floor spring spindle.
This is the hardest-working fitting on a glass door. It carries the entire weight of the panel and transfers it into the floor spring below, while taking the impact every time the door is pushed open. A patch set is typically rated to around 70–100 kg of door weight, which is why the base is cast aluminium alloy rather than pressed metal.
It is compatible with Ozone floor springs FS-7400, FS-8400, FS-9400, FS-10400 and FS-11400. If you are ordering the FS-8400 floor spring alongside it, the two are designed to work together. The same variable 55/65 mm pivot point as the top patch lets the fitter square the door on site.

- Cutouts must be made before toughening. Toughened glass cannot be drilled or notched afterwards — it will shatter. Patch fittings require cutouts, so the glass must be ordered to suit

Yes. The bottom patch sits onto the floor spring spindle; it does not work alone. The floor spring carries the load and controls how the door closes.
5) Will my glass need cutouts?
Yes — and they must be made before the panel is toughened. Confirm the cutout drawing with your glass supplier at order stage.
