Ozone Glass Door Handle OGH-11 is a D-type pull handle for glass, wooden and metal doors, in three sizes including a compact 19 × 171 mm option.

Handles on glass doors are fitted back to back — the two halves bolt through holes in the panel and clamp against each other. That is the only way to fix anything to glass, and it is why the hole positions have to be exactly right: they are drilled before the panel is toughened and cannot be moved afterwards.

Gaskets are supplied to sit between the handle and the glass. They are not a detail to skip. Metal bearing directly on a glass edge creates a point stress, and point stress on toughened glass is how panels fail — sometimes months later, apparently spontaneously.

1) How do handles fix to a glass door?

Back to back — the two halves bolt through holes in the panel and clamp against each other. Nothing can be screwed into glass, so this is the only method.

2) Can the fixing holes be drilled on site?

No. Holes must be made before the glass is toughened. Toughened glass shatters if drilled. Give your glass supplier the handle’s fixing centres when you order the panel.

3) Why are gaskets important?

They stop metal bearing directly on the glass. Direct contact creates a point stress, and point stress is a common reason toughened panels fail later, sometimes without warning.

4) Which size should I choose?

Match it to the door’s proportions. A short handle on a tall glass leaf looks undersized, and a long one on a narrow door crowds it. Measure the leaf, and consider who uses the door — longer handles suit a wider range of heights.

5) Can I use it on a wooden or metal door?

Yes — extended spindles are provided on request for thicker door materials. Tell us the door type and thickness when ordering.
