Legrand SPN (Single Pole & Neutral) Distribution Board from the Dizly range takes a 240V single-phase supply and divides it into separate circuits, each protected by its own MCB. Every board has a 2-module incomer space for the main breaker (a 2-pole MCB, RCCB or isolator), plus 6, 8 or 12 outgoing ways for single-pole MCBs.

The CRCA steel body is powder coated against corrosion, and the detachable double door keeps breakers protected from dust and neatly out of sight. Inside, a 100A copper busbar, shrouded neutral block and earth terminals help keep live parts covered for safer wiring and maintenance, while the deep wiring space, cable tie slots and removable pan make installation neat and easy. Rated IP42 for indoor use, it can be flush or surface mounted.

Licensed Electrician Only: Distribution board wiring must be done by a licensed electrician
Isolate the Supply: Make sure the incoming supply is fully switched off before any work
Indoor Use Only: IP42 is not weatherproof – install indoors, away from direct water
Earthing: Make sure the board and all circuits are properly earthed

1) What does "Way" mean?

"Way" is the number of outgoing single-pole MCBs the board can hold. This is in addition to a separate 2-module incomer space for the main breaker. For example, the 6 Way board holds a 2-module main RCCB or MCB plus 6 single-pole MCBs – 8 modules in total.

2) What is the total module capacity of each size?

The 6 Way board has 8 modules (2 incomer + 6 outgoing), the 8 Way board has 10 modules (2 + 8), and the 12 Way board has 14 modules (2 + 12).

3) Can I use it for a three-phase supply?

No. SPN boards are for 240V single-phase supply only. For a 415V three-phase supply, use a Legrand ETPN or TPN distribution board.

4) Is IP42 suitable for indoor use?

Yes. IP42 protects against solid objects larger than 1 mm and dripping water, which is suitable for indoor installations. It is not weatherproof, so don't install it outdoors or where it can get wet.

5) Are MCBs included?

No. The board comes empty, with the copper busbar, shrouded neutral block, earth terminals and removable pan. MCBs, the RCCB or isolator, and cables are bought separately.
