Jaquar Aquamax Concealed Body Shower Mixer
पिकअप उपलब्धता लोड नहीं की जा सकी
This listing contains the internal in-wall valve body only. External trim plates, control knobs, handles, and levers (Exposed Parts Kit) are sold separately. A compatible Jaquar Aquamax Exposed Parts Kit must be purchased to complete the installation.
The Jaquar Aquamax Concealed Body Series provides the in-wall brass valve foundation for high-performance built-in shower systems. Designed to sit flush within a wall recess, the concealed body keeps all plumbing hidden behind tiles for a clean, uncluttered shower aesthetic. Available in three configurations: a 2-way thermostatic body (ALD-681N) for two-outlet setups, a 3-way thermostatic body (ALD-683N) for three-outlet setups, and a 3-way single lever body (ALD-783N) for manual temperature control across three outlets. All three operate from as low as 0.2 Bar, making a booster pump optional in most residential setups.
The thermostatic variants use an advanced polymer cartridge that automatically maintains the pre-set water temperature regardless of pressure fluctuations elsewhere in the building - preventing accidental scalding. The polymer construction resists limescale accumulation in hard water areas. The single lever variant (ALD-783N) uses a solid brass spindle rated to 10.5 lakh (1,050,000) ON/OFF cycles for long-term mechanical reliability. All models include integrated backflow protection. The outer trim kit is sold separately.

The thermostatic variants (ALD-681N and ALD-683N) use an automatic polymer cartridge that continuously senses and corrects the water temperature to maintain your pre-set level - even if pressure drops elsewhere in the building (such as when a toilet is flushed). The single lever variant (ALD-783N) requires manual adjustment of the lever to set the hot/cold mix - it does not self-correct for pressure fluctuations. The thermostatic models are recommended where anti-scald protection is a priority, particularly in homes with children or elderly users. The single lever model offers a higher flow rate and a simpler, more durable mechanical design.
No - this is the concealed body only - the internal brass valve mechanism that goes inside the wall during masonry. The outer trim plate, control knobs, handles, and levers are sold separately as a Jaquar Aquamax Exposed Parts Kit. The exposed kit is available in multiple finishes. You must select and purchase the matching exposed kit to complete the shower installation.
If you have exactly two outlets - for example a rain shower head and a hand shower - select the 2-way thermostatic body (ALD-681N). If you purchase a 3-way body for a two-outlet setup, the unused third port must be permanently capped with a brass plug, which adds installation complexity. If there is any possibility of adding a third outlet in the future, the 3-way body can be specified with the third port capped for now and opened later.
Not necessarily. All three models operate from as low as 0.2 Bar, covering most standard Indian residential overhead tank setups without a pump. However, for optimal rain shower performance - particularly with large-format 300mm+ rain heads - a sustained line pressure of 2.0 to 3.0 Bar is recommended. If your building's water pressure is consistently below 0.5 Bar, a booster pump will significantly improve the shower experience.
The Aquamax valve bodies are directionally specific - hot supply must connect to the left inlet and cold to the right. If the lines are reversed, the thermostatic cartridge cannot regulate temperature correctly and the safety limiter will not function as designed. This must be corrected before the wall cavity is sealed and tiled. Your plumber should verify the orientation during the rough plumbing phase and pressure-test before proceeding to plastering.
