Application Guidelines
Step-by-Step Application
- Surface preparation: Ensure the wall or concrete face is clean, sound, and free from loose paint, dirt, curing compounds, and sealers.
- Mix components: Combine equal parts Part A and Part B on a clean board until a uniform, streak-free off-white colour is achieved.
- Apply dabs: Place thick epoxy dabs (6mm, covering approx. 10% of the stone back) at corners and centre of the panel.
- Fix and align: Press the stone panel firmly against the wall. Tap lightly to adjust within the workability window. No temporary clamps required for standard vertical sizes.

1) Does LATAPOXY® 310 replace mechanical clips or anchor slots for stone installation?
Yes - it is specifically engineered to replace mechanical fasteners. The ultra-high chemical anchoring strength carries the permanent weight of the stone panel without structural clips, drilled slots, or anchor pins.
2) Can I use this on an exterior wall exposed to rain and weather?
Yes - LATAPOXY® 310 is weather-resistant and designed for permanent exterior facade applications, including damp exterior masonry and high-rise building cladding.
3) Will the epoxy bleed through and discolour white marble?
No - the formulation is explicitly non-staining, preventing the oily shadowing and chemical bleeding that standard thinsets or inferior adhesives commonly cause on light-coloured natural stones.
4) How much of the stone back needs to be covered with adhesive?
For standard spot-bonding, cover approximately 10% of the stone back with dabs at least 6mm (1/4 inch) thick, placed at the corners and centre of the panel.
5) Is a safety data sheet available for project clearance?
Yes - a full MSDS and Technical Data Sheet (TDS) are available from MYK Laticrete to support commercial compliance and green building air quality approvals.
