- Never point it at people or animals, and never use it to dry hair or clothing — 500 °C air burns instantly

- Ventilate when stripping paint. Paint in older buildings may contain lead, and heating it releases toxic fumes — test first and use respiratory protection
- Never block the air inlet or outlet — restricted airflow overheats the element

3) Can I control temperature and airflow separately?
Both are stage-selected together via the slide switch: stage 1 gives 350 °C at 300 L/min, stage 2 gives 500 °C at 500 L/min. Choose stage 1 for delicate work where a strong blast would displace the workpiece, stage 2 for paint stripping and area coverage.
4) Is it safe to strip paint in an older building?
