Luminous Power Inverter Set – Eco Volt Neo 1550 + RC 18000 150Ah Tall Battery + TX100L Trolley
- Complete 3-piece power backup set: Inverter, battery and trolley
- Inverter: Luminous Eco Volt Neo 1550 — pure sine wave, 1400 VA / 1176 W
- The largest Eco Volt Neo — for 2–3 BHK homes and heavier simultaneous loads
- Battery: Luminous Red Charge RC 18000, 150 Ah tall tubular
- Trolley: Luminous TX100L, grey — holds both units off the floor
- Warranty: 36 months on the inverter - 36 Months (18 Months Free Replacement + 18 Months Pro-Rata) on the battery
- Please note: “1550” is a model name, not the VA rating
A complete power backup set built around the largest inverter in the Eco Volt Neo range: the Neo 1550 at 1400 VA / 1176 W, a Red Charge RC 18000 150 Ah tall tubular battery, and the TX100L trolley.
The 1400 VA rating is what you are buying here. It comfortably carries four or five fans, six to eight lights, a TV, a router and a computer at once, and has the headroom to take a large refrigerator's compressor start-up surge without tripping — which a smaller inverter will not.
Pure sine wave output delivers the same clean waveform as the grid, so laptops, TVs, routers and modern appliances run without the hum, heat and gradual stress a square or modified wave causes.
The tall tubular battery is worth knowing about. Tall tubular cells are physically taller with a smaller footprint than short tubular, and the taller plates are generally associated with deep-cycle duty. It is a different shape from the short tubular batteries in our smaller combos, so check the space you have before ordering.
The trolley lifts both units clear of the floor — away from water, dust and mopping — and lets you move the set to clean behind it without disconnecting anything.
Before You Order — How Long It Will Actually Run
- The inverter sets how much you can run; the battery sets how long. This set pairs a 1176 W inverter with 150 Ah of storage — roughly 1,150 Wh usable
- At a moderate 300–400 W load that is about 3 to 4 hours. Run near the full 1176 W and it is closer to an hour
- If you expect long cuts at heavy load, a higher-Ah battery is the better choice — it gives longer runtime and avoids deep-discharging the battery every cycle, which is what shortens tubular battery life
- “1550” is a model name, not a rating. This inverter delivers 1400 VA / 1176 W
- Stay within 1176 W. It will not run a geyser, air conditioner, iron or immersion rod
- Single 12 V battery only — never two in series, which damages the inverter and voids the warranty
- Allow 15 cm clearance around the inverter, and have it installed by an electrician

1) Does “1550” mean 1550 VA?
No. 1550 is a model name. This inverter delivers 1400 VA with a 1176 W maximum load — the largest in the Eco Volt Neo range. Size your backup from those figures, not the model number.
2) How long will it run on a power cut?
The inverter decides how much you can run; the battery decides how long. With 150 Ah you have roughly 1,150 Wh usable — about 3 to 4 hours at a moderate 300–400 W load, but closer to an hour if you run near the full 1176 W. If you expect long cuts at heavy load, a higher-Ah battery gives longer runtime and avoids deep-discharging the battery every cycle.
3) What is the difference between a tall tubular and a short tubular battery?
Mainly the shape. A tall tubular battery is taller with a smaller footprint; a short tubular is lower and wider for the same Ah rating. Both do the same job, so choose by the space you have — and check the height clearance before ordering, since a tall tubular needs noticeably more headroom.
