Kitchen Accessories Set brings together the five Futura fittings a kitchen sink installation actually needs — the inlet connections, the waste coupling, the waste pipe, and the floor grating — in a single purchase at a substantial saving over buying them separately.
The reason this set exists is a familiar one on site. A sink goes in, the plumber is standing there, and the job stops because the waste coupling is the wrong size or nobody ordered a grating. Each of these five parts is individually cheap and individually essential, and it is almost always the smallest one that holds up the whole installation. Ordering them as a set means one order, one delivery, and nothing missing on the day.
Two versions are offered, and they differ in exactly one component: the floor grating. The With Frame Grating Locking version includes the NW-010A grating with a locking system that holds it in its frame, so it will not lift underfoot or be displaced during floor cleaning. The Without Frame Grating Locking version includes the standard NW-010 grating. Everything else in the two sets is identical.
What's in the Set
Five Components (Quick Reference)
| Component | Model | Specification | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
| SS Braided Hose | NW-048B | 24", 13.5 mm bore, brass nut insert | Flexible inlet connection from wall valve to tap |
| PTMT Connection Pipe | NW-045B | 24", PVC chuck nut both ends | Second inlet connection option, hand-tightened |
| Waste Pipe | NW-068A | Flexible PVC, heavy duty, PVC chuck nut | Carries wastewater from sink outlet to floor trap |
| Waste Coupling | NW-032A | FT brass, 1 x 1¼" – 3.5" | Seals the sink outlet and connects it to the waste pipe |
| Round Frame Grating | NW-010 / NW-010A | Stainless steel, 12.5 cm (5") | Covers the floor drain and screens out debris |
Which Version Should I Choose?
| Version | Grating Supplied | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| With Frame Grating Locking | NW-010A — locking system included | Kitchens with regular foot traffic, homes with children or elderly residents, rentals and commercial kitchens |
| Without Frame Grating Locking | NW-010 — standard grating | Low-traffic utility areas and back kitchens where a lift-out cover is preferred |
The other four components are identical in both versions. If the two are offered at the same price, the locking version is the better buy — the mechanism holds the grating in its frame so it doesn't lift underfoot or get displaced during floor washing, and it still lifts out for cleaning when you release it.
Key Features
- Complete inlet and waste coverage: Both sides of a sink installation in one set, rather than five separate orders
- Brass waste coupling: Brass rather than plastic in the one fitting that sits in permanent standing water
- SS braided inlet hose: Stainless braiding resists kinking and burst pressure, with brass nut inserts that hold torque
- Heavy-duty flexible waste pipe: Thicker wall than economy grade, and absorbs misalignment between outlet and drain
- Stainless steel floor grating: No plating to wear through, so no rust staining on surrounding tile
- Substantial saving on the set compared with buying the five components individually
How the Set Goes Together
Typical Installation Sequence
- Seat the waste coupling into the sink's drain hole with its sealing washer, and tighten the backnut from underneath
- Connect the flexible waste pipe to the coupling outlet using its PVC chuck nut, hand-tightened
- Route the waste pipe to the floor trap with a consistent downward fall and no upward loops
- Connect the inlet hose from the angle valve to the tap — hand-tighten the brass nut first to avoid cross-threading, then snug with a spanner
- Seat the round frame grating into the floor trap opening, engaging the locking system if your version has one
- Run water and check every joint for seepage before closing up the cabinet
The set covers the sink fittings themselves. You will separately need an angle valve at the wall if one isn't already installed, and of course the sink and tap.

1) What is the difference between the two versions?
Only the floor grating. The With Frame Grating Locking version includes the NW-010A grating, which has a locking mechanism holding it in its frame so it won't lift underfoot or shift during floor washing. The Without Frame Grating Locking version includes the standard NW-010 grating. The other four components are identical in both sets.
2) Is this everything I need to install a kitchen sink?
It covers the fittings — inlet connection, waste coupling, waste pipe, and floor grating. You will separately need the sink and tap themselves, and an angle valve at the wall if your kitchen doesn't already have one. If you're unsure what's already in place, send us a photo of the existing plumbing and we'll confirm.
3) Why does the set include two different inlet pipes?
The set contains a stainless braided hose and a PTMT connection pipe, giving your plumber two inlet connection options. The braided hose is the more robust choice for pressurised lines and resists kinking and bursting; the PTMT pipe is a lighter hand-tightened alternative. Your plumber will use whichever suits the connection points in your kitchen.
4) Will the waste coupling fit my sink?
The coupling is a 3.5" face with a 1 x 1¼" thread, which suits standard Indian kitchen sink outlet cutouts. Measure your sink's drain hole before ordering — if your sink was made for a larger or non-standard outlet, the coupling won't seat correctly.
5) Is buying the set actually cheaper than buying the parts separately?
Yes — the set is priced well below the combined individual cost of the five components. The other benefit is practical: one order, one delivery, and nothing missing when your plumber arrives, which is usually what actually holds up a sink installation.
