Application & Suitability

Professional Recommendations & Installation Guidelines

1) Does this package include the complete tap set required for a fresh bathroom installation?

No. This product is an Exposed Part Kit only. It includes the visible external components — the operating lever, cartridge sleeve, wall flange, nipple, and spout. You must have a pre-installed in-wall concealed body model Jaquar ALD-233N or ALD-235N, purchased separately, before tiling your walls.

2) What flow rate and aerator does the Fusion use?

The Fusion delivers a flow rate of 15.00 LPM at 3 Bar, supported by a 20X1 aerator that carries WRAS and ACS certification. It is offered in a standard chrome finish only, with its distinct geometric styling setting it apart visually from Jaquar's other single-lever basin mixer designs.

3) My home water supply has low pressure. Will this single-lever mixer work fine?

Yes. This kit is engineered to work at a minimum operating pressure of 0.5 Bar. For a genuinely satisfying flow, 1.0 to 3.0 Bar is recommended. If your bathroom sits directly beneath the building's overhead tank, pressure may feel lower — a pressure booster pump solves this instantly.

4) Can I decrease the water consumption of this tap to meet green building certifications?

Yes. The Fusion is compatible with external Jaquar flow regulators. Ordering with a specific suffix lets you throttle consumption: G (2.5 LPM), GA (6.0 LPM), GB (8.0 LPM), GD (3.8 LPM), GE (1.3 LPM) — measured at a standard 4.0 Bar line.

5) How do I clean and remove hard water scaling from the tap without ruining the finish?

Wipe the tap with a soft cloth dipped in a 50:50 mixture of water and white vinegar, let it sit briefly, rinse with clean water, and dry completely. Never use hydrochloric acid, tile cleaners, bleach, or wire mesh scrubbers — these will damage the protective 0.3-micron Chromium shield despite its 500-hour salt spray rating.
