Futura Natural Quartz Series Sink (FS 2118 NQ) brings the look and feel of natural stone to your kitchen. Made from about 80% natural quartz bound with acrylic resin, it has a smooth matte stone finish and a non-porous surface that wipes clean of turmeric, oil and strong food colours. Choose from two colours: a bold Black or a warm, speckled Wheat Spot.

Quartz naturally absorbs sound, so running water and clattering dishes are much quieter than in a steel sink. The dense surface resists scratches, stains and heat, handles boiling water in everyday use, and the colour runs right through the material, so it won't peel or fade. At 21" x 18" with a deep 8" bowl, it fits compact apartment kitchens while still handling family-size washing, and it can be installed under-mount or top-mount.

1) What is the difference between Black and Wheat Spot?

Only the colour. Both have the same 21" x 18" x 8" size, quartz material and single-bowl design. Black gives a bold, dark matte stone look, while Wheat Spot is a warmer, lighter speckled tone. Choose based on your countertop and cabinet colours.

2) Will turmeric (haldi) stain it?

No. The surface is non-porous, so strong colours like turmeric don't soak in. A wipe with mild liquid soap and water usually removes any residue.

3) Is a quartz sink better than stainless steel?

It depends on what you want. Quartz gives a matte stone look that matches modern countertops, is much quieter, resists scratches well and hides water spots better than polished steel. Steel is lighter and usually lower in cost.

4) How do I clean the matte finish?

Use a soft sponge and mild liquid detergent every day. Avoid strong acids and steel wool, which can dull the matte surface over time. This applies to both colours.

5) Can I pour boiling water into it?
