Faber Hood Glory BLDC 60 cm is a filterless, heat auto-clean wall-mounted chimney with 1500 m³/hr of suction, finished in black glass. The glass front is the distinguishing feature — it reads as a deliberate design element above the hob rather than an appliance bolted to the wall, and it wipes clean with a cloth instead of needing degreasing.

Underneath the finish it's the same engineering logic as the rest of Faber's BLDC range: a brushless motor drawing less power, running quieter, and lasting longer than a conventional induction motor, paired with filterless extraction that removes the recurring chore of pulling out and degreasing baffle filters.

Heat auto-clean liquefies accumulated oil inside the hood so it drains into the collector without dismantling anything. At 60 cm it matches a standard 2–4 burner hob.

1) Is installation included, and does it come with the chimney pipe?

Yes to both. Free installation by Faber's authorised technicians is included at no extra cost, and the standard chimney duct pipe is supplied with the product. For a high ceiling or long duct run, ask the installer about an extension when the visit is scheduled.

2) Is a black glass front harder to keep clean?

Not really — the glass front wipes clean with a damp cloth, unlike a stainless surface that shows fingerprints and needs degreasing. It will show smudges more readily than matte black, so it suits people who wipe down after cooking anyway.

3) What does "filterless" mean in practice?

No baffle or mesh filters to remove, soak, and refit. Oil is separated centrifugally into a built-in collector that you empty periodically — no consumable filter cost and no fortnightly cleaning chore.

4) Is a BLDC motor worth paying for?

Over the life of the appliance, generally yes. Brushless motors draw less power, run quieter, and last significantly longer because there's no carbon brush wear — which is why Faber warrants BLDC motors far longer than the rest of the product.
