Fevicol Nail Free Ultra High Strength Adhesive & Sealant, 435g
Couldn't load pickup availability
Fevicol Nail Free Ultra is a premium 1-part, high-grab moisture-cure adhesive-sealant engineered to replace nails and screws in construction and interior fitout applications - eliminating the drilling, noise, and surface damage of mechanical fixing while delivering a stronger, more durable bond for heavy materials. It is formulated to react with atmospheric moisture to create a high-strength bond that is UV-resistant, weatherproof, and permanently elastic - the adhesive does not shrink after curing and continues to flex with the movement of the bonded materials, making it particularly suitable for materials that expand and contract with temperature changes such as stone, glass, metal, and composite panels. At a post-cure capacity of 18-20 kg per sq. ft., it is rated for heavy applications including large wall mirrors, marble and granite cladding, stone shelves, and thick composite panel systems that cannot be adequately supported by standard construction adhesives.
The formula is silver-mirror safe - it does not corrode or dissolve the metallic backing of mirrors, which is a common failure point with standard solvent-based adhesives used on mirrors. It works on both dry and damp surfaces, and can be applied in wet conditions including underwater - making it suitable for bathroom and kitchen splash zone applications where conventional adhesives fail due to moisture exposure. The product comes in a 435g cartridge format and must be dispensed using a standard manual caulking gun, which is not included and must be purchased separately. A single cartridge covers approximately 21 sq. ft. when applied in the recommended zig-zag bead pattern. Skin forms within 15 minutes of application - allowing a 6-minute adjustment window after pressing the bonded surfaces together - and full cure is achieved at a rate of 2mm per 24 hours.

No - this listing is for the 435g adhesive cartridge only. A standard manual caulking gun is required to dispense the adhesive and must be purchased separately. Any standard pistol-grip caulking gun that accepts a 435g or 300 ml cartridge will work - these are widely available at hardware stores and on HomeRun. Without a caulking gun, the cartridge cannot be dispensed.
Fevicol Nail Free Ultra is rated at 18-20 kg per sq. ft. post-cure - one of the highest load ratings in its class, specifically designed for heavy applications. A standard large wall mirror (approximately 2 sq. ft. of bonded area) can be supported at 36-40 kg of total bond capacity - well above the weight of most domestic mirrors. For granite and marble cladding panels, the bond area across multiple adhesive beads provides the distributed load capacity required for full stone panels. Allow the full 24-hour cure before removing temporary supports on heavy items.
Nail Free Ultra is not suitable for PE (polyethylene), PP (polypropylene), or PTFE (Teflon) surfaces - these low-surface-energy plastics do not allow adequate adhesive wetting for a reliable bond. It works well on most other substrates including wood, stone, glass, ceramic, metal, concrete, masonry, and most rigid plastics that are not from the PE/PP/PTFE family. If you are unsure whether your substrate is compatible, apply a small test bead to a hidden area and check adhesion after 24 hours before proceeding with the full application.
The adhesive forms a surface skin within 15 minutes of application - after skin formation, the bonded surfaces should not be moved or adjusted. The adhesive cures through the full depth of the bead at a rate of 2mm per 24 hours - a 4mm bead (standard application thickness) reaches full cure in approximately 48 hours. For practical purposes, full working bond strength on most applications is reached at 24 hours. Use temporary mechanical supports (tape, wedges, or props) for heavy items during the first 24 hours to prevent sliding before full bond strength is achieved.
Yes - Nail Free Ultra is highly water-resistant and can be applied to damp or wet surfaces, and even underwater. The moisture-cure chemistry means that ambient moisture and humidity actually assist the curing process rather than inhibiting it - making it more effective in humid bathroom and kitchen environments than conventional solvent-based adhesives that require dry conditions. Once cured, the bond is permanently waterproof and is unaffected by continuous water exposure, steam, and cleaning detergents at normal domestic concentrations.
