- Filter: 3-layer stainless steel baffle — lifetime, no replacement cost

Faber Hood Class Pro 60 cm with 5 Metre Aluminium Duct Pipe is the chimney and the ducting it needs, ordered together as one set.
The reason this bundle exists is simple: a kitchen chimney is supplied without a duct pipe, and it cannot work without one. The chimney draws smoke and oil-laden air off the hob; the pipe is what carries it out of the building. Order the chimney on its own and the installation stops on the day, with the fitter standing in your kitchen waiting for a part. Buying both together means everything needed for the duct run arrives at once.
The chimney itself is Faber’s Class Pro 60 cm, with 1000 m³/hr of suction and a 3-layer stainless steel baffle filter. Baffle filters suit Indian cooking specifically: oily vapour hits the steel plates and is forced to change direction sharply, which flings grease out of the airstream. Because the baffles are solid steel rather than mesh, they never need replacing — you pull them out and wash them by hand or in a dishwasher. Against a mesh-filter chimney, that is a running cost you simply never pay.
Controls are deliberately plain: a 3-speed push button with a separate button for the light, so the lamp can be used without running the motor. Faber backs the motor for 12 years, with 1 year comprehensive cover on the rest.
The 5 metre aluminium pipe is flexible ducting that bends around cabinets and beams in one continuous run, with no elbow joints to fabricate. Five metres covers a high ceiling or a longer route to a distant wall vent, and can be trimmed down where the run is shorter.

Installation
Please Read Before Ordering
- Installation is not included in this bundle. Contact our customer support team after placing your order and we will arrange it at an additional charge
- What the bundle does cover is the parts — chimney, mounting kit and duct pipe — so nothing is missing when the fitter arrives
- Plan the duct route before installation day. The pipe has to reach a wall or window vent, and the shortest, straightest route performs best
- Shorter ducting means better suction. Every extra metre and every bend costs airflow, so trim the pipe to your actual run rather than coiling the excess in the cabinet — coiled slack both restricts air and collects grease
- You may also need clamps and aluminium duct tape to seal the joints at the chimney and the vent. An unsealed joint leaks greasy air straight back into the kitchen
- A 60 cm chimney suits a 2 to 4 burner hob. Check your hob width and the available wall space before ordering
Recommended For
Where this bundle fits best
- New kitchen fitouts: Chimney and ducting specified together at the outset
- Chimney replacement: Old ducting is usually grease-laden and best renewed with the unit
- 2 to 4 burner hobs: The 60 cm width is matched to standard Indian cooktops
- High ceilings or a distant vent: 5 metres covers a long duct route
- Households that cook daily: Baffle filters handle oily Indian cooking without consumable cost
- Value-conscious buyers: Full 1000 m³/hr suction without paying for auto-clean
1) Why is the pipe bundled with the chimney?
Because a chimney is supplied without one, and cannot work without one. The chimney pulls smoke off the hob; the duct pipe carries it out of the building. Ordering the chimney alone means the installation stops on the day for want of a part, so the two are sold together here.
2) Is installation included?
No. Installation is not included in this bundle. Please contact our customer support team after placing your order and we will arrange it at an additional charge. What the bundle covers is the parts — chimney, mounting kit and duct pipe.
3) Do I need the full 5 metres of pipe?
Probably not, and that is fine — trim it to your actual run. Five metres covers a high ceiling or a distant vent; most kitchens need less. Do not coil the excess in the cabinet, because coiled slack restricts airflow and collects grease. Shorter and straighter always performs better.
4) What is a baffle filter, and will it need replacing?
Baffle filters are curved stainless steel plates that force oily vapour to change direction sharply, separating grease from the airstream. Because they are solid steel rather than mesh, they never need replacing — wash them by hand or in a dishwasher every 4 to 6 weeks. That is an ongoing cost you avoid entirely against mesh-filter chimneys.
5) Is 1000 m³/hr enough for my kitchen?
For a typical Indian home kitchen with a 2 to 4 burner hob and reasonable ventilation, yes. If you have an open-plan kitchen, a large hob, or fry heavily every day, a 1200 to 1500 m³/hr model will clear smoke faster — we stock several in the Faber range.
