2) Will standard sockets fit?

It takes any 1/2-inch (12.7 mm) square drive impact socket. Always use impact-rated sockets — chrome hand sockets are not designed for impact loading and can shatter.

3) Can I use it to tighten wheel nuts to a specific torque?

Use it to run nuts down quickly, then finish with a torque wrench to the manufacturer's figure. An impact wrench cannot set a precise torque value, and over-tightening wheel nuts stretches studs.

4) Is it corded or battery powered?

Corded. That means consistent torque for as long as you need it with no battery to charge or degrade — the trade-off is you need a socket nearby.
