CP Plus EZ-R33T is a 3MP outdoor bullet camera that connects over 4G mobile data rather than Wi-Fi. It takes a SIM card and works anywhere there is mobile coverage.

That single difference is the whole reason this camera exists. A Wi-Fi camera needs a router within range, which rules out every site that does not have one: a farm or plot, a construction site before the connection is installed, a warehouse yard, a borewell or pump house, a second property standing empty, a shop shutter monitored overnight. Put a SIM in and it works — no broadband, no router, no cabling back to a building.

It is also the most weather-resistant of the three, at IP66, and has the longest night vision reach: IR to 20–30 m for mono, or white LEDs to 15–20 m for full-colour footage. On an open plot or a yard, that extra range matters more than it would indoors.

The trade-off to plan around is data. Video over a mobile network consumes a SIM plan, and continuous high-quality streaming will get through a lot of it. Used sensibly — event-triggered clips and occasional live viewing rather than 24/7 streaming — it is entirely practical, but it needs a data plan chosen with that in mind.

1) Why choose a 4G camera over Wi-Fi?

Because some places have no Wi-Fi to connect to. A farm or plot, a construction site before the broadband is in, a warehouse yard, a pump house, an empty second property. Put a SIM in and it works anywhere with mobile coverage — no router, no cabling back to a building.

2) How much mobile data will it use?

It depends entirely on how you use it. Continuous high-quality streaming consumes a great deal; event-triggered clips and occasional live viewing consume far less. H.265 compression helps considerably. Choose a data plan based on your intended usage, and record to the SD card so you are not streaming just to keep footage.

3) Is a SIM card included?

No. You supply a 4G SIM with an active data plan. Check the supported bands against your operator, and test coverage at the exact mounting position before installing — not at the gate.

4) What power supply does it need?

DC 12V 1A, up to 12 W — noticeably more than the 5 V Wi-Fi models. If you are swapping out a Wi-Fi camera, its adaptor will not work. Plan a weatherproofed 12 V supply at the mounting point.

5) Can it pan and tilt like the other cameras?

No — the EZ-R33T is a fixed bullet camera. It covers whatever you aim it at, with a 102.6° diagonal field of view. What it offers instead is the longest night vision range of the three, at 20–30 m on IR, and the highest weather rating at IP66.
