It is designed for exterior walls and terraces. For interior walls, use SmartCare Damp Sheath Interior.
2) How do I dilute it?
On vertical walls, thin the priming coat by up to 10% with clean water (max 100 ml per litre) and apply the topcoat undiluted. On terraces and other horizontal surfaces, thin the first coat 3:1 by volume (3 parts product to 1 part water) and apply all subsequent coats completely undiluted.
3) How much product do I need?
Terraces cover about 15 sq ft per litre for the full system, so 100 sq ft needs roughly 7 litres. Walls cover 45 sq ft per litre per coat; with the priming coat and topcoat that is about 22.5 sq ft per litre, so 100 sq ft of wall needs roughly 4.5 litres.
4) How long should I wait between coats?
Allow 4 to 6 hours of drying between successive coats.
5) Will it cover cracks in the wall?
It bridges hairline structural cracks up to 0.5 mm wide. Wider cracks should be repaired before applying.
