Futura FS 2418 NQ Natural Quartz Series Sink is a designer single-bowl kitchen sink crafted for homeowners who want the look and feel of natural stone combined with high-performance engineering. Made from a composite of roughly 80% natural quartz crystals and high-grade acrylic resins, it offers a non-porous, stain-resistant surface that easily wipes clean of turmeric, oils, and stubborn food colours while providing a modern matte aesthetic. Designed for under-mount and top-mount installations, it's a strong upgrade for luxury modular kitchens.

Unlike metal sinks, quartz is naturally sound-absorbing, muffling the noise of running water and clattering dishes to provide a quiet, "soundless" kitchen experience. Its ultra-dense, non-porous material is anti-bacterial, preventing the growth of mould and odours. The matte stone texture is highly resistant to heat, impacts, and the thermal shock of boiling water or hot vessels, and the through-coloured finish won't peel or fade over time, even with heavy daily use. Available in two colours — Nero (Black) and Wheat Spot — this larger 24" x 18" x 8" single-bowl configuration provides extra basin space for family kitchens looking for a haldi-resistant, designer sink.

Installation Guidelines

1) What is the difference between the Nero (Black) and Wheat Spot colours?

Both share the same size (24" x 18" x 8"), material, and single-bowl configuration — the only difference is the colour finish. Nero (Black) offers a bold, dark matte stone look, while Wheat Spot offers a warmer, lighter speckled tone. Choose based on your kitchen countertop and cabinetry colour scheme.

2) Will this sink stain from Indian spices like turmeric (haldi)?

No. Because the material is non-porous, strong food colours like turmeric do not penetrate the surface. A simple wipe with mild liquid soap and water is usually enough to remove any residue.

3) Is a quartz sink better than a stainless steel sink?

Quartz offers a matte stone finish that coordinates beautifully with modern countertops. It is significantly quieter, more scratch-resistant, and hides water spots much better than polished steel.

4) How do I clean and maintain the matte finish?

Use a soft sponge and mild liquid detergent for daily cleaning. Avoid using harsh acids or abrasive steel wool, as these can dull the matte appearance over time — this applies to both the Black and Wheat finishes.

5) Can I pour boiling water directly into the sink?

Yes. Both colour variants of this Futura Quartz sink are engineered for thermal shock resistance and can handle boiling water and hot cookware typical in everyday kitchen use.
