Wipro Garnet 2W Mini Recessed Spotlight is a small, slim accent light for tight spaces such as display cases, glass shelves, cabinets and wall niches. At just 17 mm tall and 42 mm across, it fits into a small Ø33 mm cutout, so it works where a standard downlight would be too deep.

The anti-glare lens gives a focused 60° beam that highlights display items, trophies and décor while reducing glare and reflections on glass. A built-in driver runs straight off mains power with no external transformer, with protection against high voltage up to 380V and surges up to 2.5 kV. Choose Warm White or Cool White for everyday accent lighting, or Blue, Red or Green for colourful decorative displays.

1) What size hole do I need to cut?

Cut a Ø33 mm round hole. The light fits into this cutout and its 42 mm front rim covers the edge for a neat, flush finish. The body is 17 mm tall, so make sure there is at least that much space behind the panel.

2) What kind of light does it give inside a display case?

The anti-glare lens gives a focused 60° beam that highlights display items and trophies rather than flooding the whole cabinet, while reducing glare and reflections on glass shelves.

3) Do I need a separate transformer?
