The Wipro Garnet 10W LED Bulkhead is a heavy-duty, utility-grade surface wall and ceiling fixture built to deliver bright, dependable lighting in both indoor and outdoor residential spaces. Designed with an elegant white finish, this modern bulkhead incorporates industrial-grade IP65 weather protective sealing, making it an ideal choice for high-moisture or outdoor zones like bathrooms, balconies, staircases, porches, and outdoor pathways.

Available in both Cool White (6500K) and Warm White (2700K), the fixture is powered by an internal driver with automated trip logic tolerating standard grid fluctuations between 150V and 300V AC, with a cutoff trip at 380V and a 2.5 kV surge suppressor fuse guarding against line spikes and neutral faults.

Technical Specifications

Why Buy from HomeRun?

1) Can this Wipro bulkhead light be installed completely out in the open, fully exposed to rain?

Yes. Because it holds a verified IP65 waterproof and dustproof ingress rating, the outer polycarbonate body is completely sealed against low-pressure water jets and heavy monsoon downpours. It can safely be used on open front boundary walls, open balconies, and unshaded garden pathways.

2) What is the main structural advantage of choosing a Polycarbonate bulkhead over an Aluminium one?

Polycarbonate is an impact-resistant, non-corrosive, and non-conductive technical plastic. This means the Wipro Garnet bulkhead will never rust, chip, or flake when exposed to salty sea breezes or high humidity (unlike iron or low-tier alloys), and it offers absolute electrical insulation.

3) How does this utility light defend itself against sudden line voltage faults or neutral cuts?

The internal driver features automated trip logic that tolerates standard residential grid shifts between 150V and 300V AC. If a major line fault spikes voltages up to 380V, or a high-current surge hits, the 2.5 kV surge safety matrix stops internal component burnout.

4) Does it require any recessed boxes or cutouts inside the ceiling or wall to install?

No. This is a pure surface mount utility fixture. The backplate screws directly flush onto standard concrete ceilings, brick walls, or exterior wooden facades without requiring deep cavity hollow boxes or false ceiling setups.
