The Laguna Basin (LAS-WHT-91905) is glossy white vitreous china with smooth, sculpted lines, designed to sit on the counter as a feature rather than a cut-out. The Kubix Prime trim (KUP-CHR-35233NKPM) adds a sharp square plate, single lever, and spout delivering 13.30 LPM, mounted over the ALD-CHR-233N concealed body, whose cartridge is rated for 10.5 lakh on/off cycles and includes an adjustable temperature limiter. Below the counter, the 130mm click clack waste (ALD-CHR-727L130) opens and closes with a single press, and the brass bottle trap (ALD-CHR-769L300X190) uses an internal partition to hold a stable water seal against sewer odours, with 190mm and 300mm wall pipes to suit your wall depth.

2) What does the internal partition in the bottle trap do?

Basic P- and S-traps can lose their water seal through evaporation or siphoning if a bathroom goes unused, letting sewer smells escape. The ALD-CHR-769L300X190 uses an internal partition to keep a deeper, more stable water seal that blocks odours.

3) If the cartridge develops a leak later, will tiles need to be broken?

No — the Kubix Prime trim is front-access. Remove the lever and square wall plate, and a plumber can service or replace the cartridge from the front.

4) Why should the vanity counter be built lower than normal?

Standard counters are about 800–850mm high for undermount sinks. A table-top basin sits on top of the counter, so on a standard counter its rim would end up close to 1000mm — uncomfortably high. Building the counter at around 650–675mm brings the rim back to a comfortable height.
