CERA Angle Cock with Wall Flange (F8040204) is the small isolating valve that sits between a wall water supply and a fitting — a basin tap, a health faucet, or a cistern. It turns the supply through 90 degrees from the wall outlet to the connection pipe, and it lets you shut off water to that one fitting alone.

That last point is the whole value. Without an angle cock, servicing a dripping tap or a leaking health faucet means shutting off water to the entire bathroom, or the whole house. With one, you close a single valve and get on with the job.
