1) What comes in the box?

One Anchor Roma 10A bell push switch module (white, code 289204). The Roma plate, wall box, mounting screws and indoor doorbell or chime are sold separately.

2) How is a bell push different from a normal switch?

A bell push only connects while it is being pressed and springs back as soon as you let go. A normal switch stays on or off until you change it again.

3) Why is it rated 10A when a doorbell uses so little current?

10A is the maximum the switch can safely handle, not what a doorbell draws. Most doorbells use far less, so the higher rating gives a good safety margin and long life.

4) Can I connect more than one bell push to the same doorbell?

Yes. Several bell pushes can be wired in parallel to ring the same bell from the front door, back door or gate.

5) Can I use it with a wireless doorbell?

It is designed for standard wired doorbells. Wireless doorbells usually come with their own battery-powered button, so a wired bell push isn't needed.
