Installation Guidelines

1) What is the difference between STDS-I-SC and STDS-I?

STDS-I-SC has an integrated soft-close mechanism, so the drawer slows down and closes gently and silently. STDS-I is the regular close version without soft close – the drawer simply closes when pushed. Choose STDS-I-SC for kitchens and bedrooms where quiet, slam-free closing matters.

2) What side gap is needed for installation?

You need 12.7 – 13.0 mm of clearance on each side, between the drawer box and the cabinet's inner side panel. Getting this gap right is important – too tight and the drawer will stick, too loose and it won't run smoothly or may not engage properly.

3) Can it handle heavy kitchen drawers?

Yes. With 35 kg capacity per pair, it handles typical kitchen drawer loads such as utensils, dishes and cookware. For very heavy loads like large pots, pans and appliances in one drawer, consider a higher-capacity channel.

4) Is it suitable for wire baskets?

Yes. It works well with deep wire baskets commonly used in modular kitchens, as well as wooden drawer boxes. Full extension makes it easy to reach items at the back of the basket.
