The Green Agro Shade Net gives your plants and outdoor spaces dependable relief from harsh sun. Made from UV-stabilised, 100% virgin HDPE in a lock-stitch knitted weave, it filters out excess sunlight and heat while still letting air and rain pass through, creating a cooler, healthier growing space.

A reinforced yellow border makes fixing simple and helps the net hold up in wind. Each net measures 2 x 50 m and comes neatly folded, covering 100 sq m. On building sites it is used to screen scaffolding, cut dust and give shade over fresh plaster and concrete while they cure. 1) What is the difference between 50% and 75% shade?

The percentage is how much sunlight the net blocks. A 75% net blocks about three-quarters of the light, giving a darker, cooler space, ideal for site screening, terraces, parking and nurseries. A 50% net lets about half the light through, suited to lighter shading and crops that need plenty of sun.

2) Can I use it on a construction site?

Yes. It is widely used to wrap scaffolding and screen building sites, reducing dust and debris spread, and to shade fresh plaster and concrete from direct sun so they cure evenly. Tie it securely through the yellow border to the scaffolding.

3) How much area does one net cover?

Each net is 2 m wide and 50 m long, covering 100 sq m (about 1,076 sq ft). It can be cut to size or joined side by side for larger areas.

4) Can it stay up through the monsoon?

Yes. Rain passes through the knitted weave instead of collecting on top, so the net doesn't sag under water. Make sure the frame and fixings are firm enough for strong winds.

5) How do I fix it to a frame?

Anchor it through the reinforced yellow border using zip ties, hooks, eyelets or binding wire. The border takes the strain without tearing the green net.

6) Will it unravel if I cut it?

The lock-stitch knit resists unravelling when cut. For a neater, longer-lasting edge, carefully seal the cut edge with a brief flame, keeping it away from the rest of the net.
