Ebco Hi Slide 50 Reversible Sliding Mechanism is a sliding door system for modern wardrobes and cabinets. Its reversible design lets you fit it either concealed or external, to suit your wardrobe design and space. The inbuilt soft close slows each door gently to a stop, preventing slamming and protecting your furniture.

It carries doors up to 50 kg each, 300 – 1200 mm wide and up to 2500 mm tall. Choose a 2-door or 3-door set, with an 8FT (2.44 m) or 12FT (3.66 m) track, or without a track if you already have one. Note on door thickness: the rollers adjust to fit doors from 18 to 30 mm thick, but the tracks supplied in the track variants are designed for 19 – 22 mm doors. For thinner or thicker shutters, use a track suited to that thickness.

Installation Guidelines

1) What door thickness does it support?

The rollers adjust to fit doors from 18 to 30 mm thick. However, the tracks supplied in the track variants (HS50R-T2 and HS50R-T3) are designed for 19 – 22 mm doors. If your shutters are thinner or thicker than this, choose the Without Track variant and use a track suited to your door thickness. For 25 mm doors, a dedicated 25 mm track is needed – HS50R-25-T2 or HS50R-25-T3, sold separately (currently not available at HomeRun).

2) What does "reversible" mean?

It means the mechanism can be fitted either concealed or external. Fit it concealed for a clean, hidden look, or external for easier access and maintenance, depending on your wardrobe design.

3) With track or without track – which should I choose?

Choose the 8FT (2.44 m) or 12FT (3.66 m) track variant if you need a new track to suit your wardrobe opening. Choose Without Track if you already have a compatible track and only need the mechanism. First decide 2 or 3 doors, then pick the track option.

4) Does soft close work on every door?

Yes. Each door has its own soft-close mechanism, so every door closes smoothly and quietly, whichever one you use.

5) Can I install it myself?

It is possible for experienced DIYers, but we recommend a carpenter or wardrobe specialist. Correct alignment is important for smooth sliding, proper soft close and a long life.

6) Can it be used with glass doors?

It is designed for wooden or board shutters fixed with clamp mounts. For glass doors, use a sliding system made specifically for glass, and always keep within the 50 kg per door limit.
